IZZY JIANG
PUPPETRY ARTIST | 3D ARTIST | LIGHTING DESIGNER
Currently studying Puppetry at Wimbledon College of Art, UAL, and graduated from the Central Academy of Drama with a degree in Stage Lighting design.
Her work encompasses puppet design and construction, puppetry performance, stage lighting design, set design, and three-dimensional visual arts. She specialise in visual interpretations based on scripts or narrative materials, favouring the transformation of stories into expressive visual experiences.​
Her practice centres on puppetry as a primary medium, emphasising the integration of material texture, structural transformation and mechanical movement. She frequently employ morphing forms, light and shadow manipulation, and multi-layered visual details to advance narratives, exploring themes of memory, emotion and identity.
